Ben Brantley has fifteen years of experience in the enterprise software arena, most recently in advisory roles with software startups in the domains of retail finance, automotive, and energy. Before joining Sureify as CTO in 2021, Ben was Head of Technical Sales, and then CTO, at Guidewire. In that position, he blended his sharp insight, innovative talent and smooth customer skills into a successful mix that helped the company grow and forge its influence as an insurtech leader.

Ben studied computer science at Caltech and served as a faculty member there for five years after graduating. He lives with his wife and daughter in California.

A Ball State University alumnus with post-grad studies at Northwestern and Purdue, he volunteers on advisory boards, mentors students, and occasionally teaches. His accolades include the 2017 IBJ CTO of the Year and the 2020 Miller College of Business Award of Achievement.

Jeff Ackley is the Vice President of Information Technology, Insurance Technologies at EquiTrust Life Insurance Company. With a strong foundation as a software engineer, Jeff now leads the technological advancements in both Back Office and Front Office Technologies at EquiTrust. His expertise and leadership drive the company’s efforts to innovate and optimize their technology landscape.
