Dustin Yoder is an insurtech entrepreneur dedicated to creating the next generation of insurance sales, service, and policyholder engagement. The son of a top Silicon Valley insurance broker, Dustin found his passion during his high school days working at the family brokerage and quality testing early benefits software. That experience brought him into the insurtech arena in 2012, making him an early leader in the space.

As a young business visionary, Dustin built, and eventually sold, Vendus Product Labs, an enterprise product development company that served clients such as Genentech, Stanford University, and Honda.

Following that success, he formed Sureify with a goal of revitalizing life insurance for the end consumer. This endeavor took him through twists, turns, and the occasional fall, but it ultimately landed him in a position of influence in the insurance space, enabling leading insurers digitally from the inside out.

Dustin’s passion for bettering the life insurance industry has not waned. He continues using his entrepreneurial spirit, product mindset, and insurance enterprise experience to meaningfully impact the industry his father started in 40 years ago.

Dustin holds a BS in finance from Cal Poly, San Luis Obispo. He lives with his wife and daughter in San Jose, CA.

Greg Zahn, MBA, serves as Vice President, Digital Strategies at Highland Capital Brokerage. He develops, markets, and manages Highland’s straight-through processing (STP) and other industry-leading field technologies for Highland’s national institutional and property and casualty (P&C) relationships. In addition, Greg develops new relationships within the P&C marketplace.

Prior to joining Highland, Greg served as Senior Vice President at NB Signature Insurance Solutions as well as National Brokerage in Tampa, Florida. In both of those roles, he provided oversight and sales team management, as well as marketing and strategic initiative support.

Greg also served as the Regional Sales Manager at National Brokerage. In this role, he worked closely with key accounts including, P&C/Benefits agencies, super regional institutions, credit unions, wealth management firms, and independent producers on strategic growth and marketing initiatives. He recruited new business from independent life insurance producers nationwide, which included directing the entire sales process from compensation and underwriting negotiations to marketing collateral creation and policy quotes. Greg also worked closely with carriers to coordinate collateral, and provided training and point-of-sale assistance.

Greg received his Bachelor of Science in Marketing from Florida State University in Tallahassee, Florida, and a Masters of Business Administration specializing in marketing, management, and finance from the University of South Florida. Greg and his wife Lisa live in Tampa, Florida, and enjoy outdoor activities including kayaking, fishing, golfing, and the occasional trip to Tallahassee to watch a FSU football game.

John Barry is Chairman and CEO of J. M. Barry & Associates, LLC dba Barry, Evans, Josephs & Snipes. Barry, Evans, Josephs & Snipes specializes in plans for the protection and transfer of wealth for affluent individuals and non-qualified benefits for corporations seeking to reward key employees and plan for business succession.

John began his insurance career with Home Life Insurance Company of New York in New Orleans, Louisiana. In 1985, he returned to Charlotte, North Carolina, and joined Barry, Evans, Josephs & Snipes, Inc. He is a member of the Society of Financial Service Professionals, National Association of Insurance Financial Advisors, and the Charlotte Estate Planning Council. He is a past board member of the Association for Advanced Life Underwriting and past chairman of their Audit Committee. John is an Industry Fellow Member of The American College Center for Ethics in Financial Services and formerly served on its Advisory Board.

In 1987, Mr. Barry became a shareholder of the M Financial Group. In 2011, Mr. Barry was elected to the Board of Directors and served as Chairman of the Board from 2016 to 2021. Andrea Hatch is Vice President, Customer Advisory Services at Sureify and is responsible for the success of the customer. Andrea joined Sureify with over 30 years of experience in the life insurance industry. Previously, she worked as VP of Operations at SelectQuote Insurance Services, Inc. with expertise on business process and customer experience optimization. She graduated from the University of San Francisco where she received a Bachelors of Science in Marketing and holds both Life & Health and Property & Casualty insurance licenses.

Andrea lives in San Francisco, CA with her husband Ken and their four children, Rachel, Kelli, Kenny and Madeline. She spends her spare time working with children in sports and volunteers as a team leader of the Strong Communities Campaign at the YMCA of San Francisco raising money and supporting programs for families in need.
