Chad Hersh is currently leading AWS’ market development for life insurance/pensions/group benefits carriers globally.

Prior to this he was leading the L&A/Group Benefits practice for Capgemini in North America and the UK. He was formerly Executive Vice President at Majesco, a leading provider of core insurance systems, where he led the life and group benefits businesses globally and worked on strategic direction for property/casualty. Previously he was a Managing Director within Novarica’s insurance research practice and a senior analyst at Celent.

Past roles include serving as the e-Business Director for AIG American General (AIG Domestic Life), where he built and managed the e-business department for the domestic life insurance division, and several years in IT and management consulting.

As chief information officer for LIMRA and LOMA, Kartik Sakthivel is responsible for developing the information technology strategic direction for the enterprise. In this capacity, he directs and manages computing and information technology policies, programs and schedules for business and enterprise systems, and manages information services to meet LIMRA and LOMA’s corporate goals and objectives. An industry thought leader, Sakthivel champions the use of technology to improve the revenue, profitability, and efficiency of the organization.

Joining LIMRA and LOMA in 2017, Sakthivel has broad industry experience, most recently as director of technology at Liberty Mutual Insurance. He holds a Doctorate in Computer Science, with a focus on AI, a Master of Science in computer information systems/information technology, as well as a Master of Business Administration from Southern New Hampshire University.

As Founder and Chief Executive Officer at InsurTech Express, Ken brings more than 30 years of insurance industry experience, with an extensive background in insurance technology for distribution and back office systems. Prior to founding InsurTech Express, Leibow worked for Genworth Financial, Mutual of Omaha, and as vice president of operations at Diversified Underwriters. As Chief Operating Officer of Integrated Insurance Technologies, Ken built the largest life insurance data exchange hub in the industry, processing over one million life policies per year and $30 billion of annuities (now owned by Oracle, Inc.). Ken has won over 18 industry leadership awards.

Samantha Chow is the VP, global market lead for life, annuity, & benefits with Capgemini, bringing 25 years of experience in the life insurance, annuity, and benefits industry. She has deep expertise in product development, pricing strategies, competitive intelligence, operational process improvement, underwriting, claims, policy administration, and change management. Before joining Capgemini, Mrs. Chow gained her broad career-level expertise from New York Life and AFLAC where she held roles such as corporate vice president of business productivity and innovation and director of research as well as several years serving the industry as an analyst at Aite Group. Mrs. Chow was focused on growing enterprise-wide capabilities for facilitating transformational and cultural change, digital transformation, improving the customer experience, innovation, and competitive advancement. Rounding out her career experience, she spent her last two years focused on technology and supporting the expansion of EIS policy admin platform into the life and annuity market globally.

Santosh is a Principal and Deloitte’s L&A/Group Insurance Technology Practice Leader with over 30 years of global experience. He specializes in advising insurance clients strategize, plan and execute multi-year technology-enabled business investments focused on achieving growth, efficiency and experience results. In addition, Santosh leads Deloitte’s LifeBox ecosystem – designed to identify and curate L&A/Group vendor technologies. He brings hands on experience assessing, selecting and implementing a variety of L&A/Group InsurTechs. Santosh serves in multiple Deloitte leadership roles as the L&A/Group Insurance Market Intelligence Co-leader, Group Insurance Benchmarking Study Technology Leader and Group Insurance CIO Executive Forum Leader.

Stacey is an InsurTech influencer, investor and advisor most known for his role in jumpstarting one of the industry’s most successful InsurTech ecosystems, InsurTech Hartford. Through InsurTech Hartford, Stacey has connection to a global network of industry leaders within carriers, brokers, startups, and investors.

Stacey’s background is 20+ years as an insurance technology executive who has worked in leadership roles for some of the industry’s largest carriers. Stacey’s carrier background is diverse with experience leading large programs, transforming organizations, and driving innovation.

Stephen brings over 18 years of insurance industry in roles that the U.S., Europe, and Asia, with a focus on distribution, operations, audit, market entry, consumer financial advice, and corporate strategy. He has held senior level positions at both a Fortune 250 global carrier and reinsurer in direct sales, sales management, market entry, risk management, advising and investing in startups and reinsurance.

Currently at the helm of TETRA G, Stephen specializes in go-to-market and management strategy for carriers, reinsurers, and insurtechs. Stephen also serves as a strategic advisor to ProNavigator, Navierre, and other insurtechs. His deep understanding of the industry coupled with his global perspective enables him to provide innovative and effective solutions tailored to the unique needs of each client. Stephen is also a licensed L&H and P&C agent.
